The LSB Clinic is a focused dental implant clinic, with a highly experienced dental implant team doing what we do best!
Our highly experienced dental implant dentists provide all forms of dental implant treatment, from replacing a single tooth, to a full arch of teeth, and all the options in between.
What are dental implants?
Dental implants can provide the ideal method of tooth replacement for those who are losing, or have lost, one or more teeth.
A dental implant is a specialist titanium screw which is placed into the jaw in a minor surgical procedure. This then becomes the foundation for a new porcelain tooth, or teeth, to be fixed on top.
Dental implants provide the most secure, natural feeling and functioning method of tooth replacement.
Chrome GuidedSMILE
A signature treatment of The L.S. Browne Centre. The advanced solution for providing an arch of fixed teeth on dental implants.
What is it?
When you have lost a full arch of teeth, or are facing the loss of a full arch of teeth, Chrome GuidedSMILE enables you to leave the surgery with a beautiful new smile on the same day as implant placement.
Using digital, 3D technology the treatment is meticulously pre-planned, providing unparalleled accuracy and predictability. Because of this detailed pre-planning your time in the dental chair is much less than it would be for conventional full arch, immediate tooth replacement treatment.
Typically your surgical appointment with Chrome will take under 2.5hrs (in comparison to 6-8hrs) and with no compromise in treatment quality. Indeed, your treatment outcome is enhanced through this method.
“Before the surgery I wasn't happy with my teeth. I had a real dread of dentures and didn't want them. I discussed with my dentist and we talked about the procedure. I was a little apprehensive at first, but felt comfortable when everything was explained to me”
Who is it suitable for?
CHROME GuidedSMILE is suitable
For those who require full arch rehabilitation of a failing dentition due to decay or periodontal disease.
For those suffering from loose dentures who require an alternative.
For those with multiple missing teeth who wish to avoid dentures.
For those who find eating a struggle.
There are a small number of situations where this treatment would not be suitable. In these cases, other types of dental implant treatment may still be suitable, and still greatly improve your dental situation.
The L.S. Browne Centre is the European Education Centre for CHROME GuidedSMILE, training dentists and their teams in this world-leading, guided full arch dental treatment.
Why choose dental implants?
We believe, and our experience tells us, that dental implants offer the best method of tooth replacement for most people in terms of quality of life, comfort and appearance.
For denture wearers, or those facing a future with a denture, they can be life-changing. Allowing you to eat the foods you enjoy again. And making you comfortable to smile and laugh in company, if you hadn’t before.
We pride ourselves on our realistic, honest and practical approach with patients. We will be realistic with you about your dental situation, but we will also be supportive in your decision-making, as only you can decide what is right for you and your situation.
How long will they last?
Dental implants can provide the longest-lasting method of tooth replacement. Indeed, one of the benefits of choosing a dental implant over another method of tooth replacement e.g. a bridge, is that it is self-supported and the lifespan of the other teeth is not reduced in order to support it. We will do everything in our power, using the advanced technologies available to us, to put you in the best position for long-term dental health that we can.
However, consider dental implants as a fresh start for a tooth or teeth lost. Like a natural tooth, you will need to ensure that you adopt a good, daily dental hygiene and care routine, make regular visits to a dental Hygienist or Therapist (at least once every 3 months), and attend for regular routine dentist check-ups, to maintain their health. Like natural teeth, their lifespan may be reduced due to poor oral care, other health issues or trauma.
