The pre-consultation call

When you make your appointment you will have a short call with an experienced member of our patient care team. They will ask you some brief questions about your teeth, and what you wish to gain from possible treatment. This enables us to ensure that we can meet your needs, and gives us some information for the implant dentist ahead of your first visit.

Your consultation appointment

We will schedule an hour for your consultation appointment.

The implant dentist will put you at ease, and discuss with you:

• Your concerns about your teeth

• Your goals for treatment

They will then

• Carry out a full clinical examination

• Take radiographs or scans, as required

• Create a digital image of your teeth/mouth, as required

Once your implant dentist has all this information, they will:

• Explain their findings to you

• Fully explain your options for treatment.

• Provide you with the costs for each option (very occasionally other information may be needed before a final cost can be given for some options. In this case, you will receive accurate costings prior to confirming any treatment)

• Discuss your options with you.

Proceeding with treatment

If you decide on a treatment option on the day of your consultation, you can make all of your appointments before you leave the clinic.

A full, written treatment plan will be sent out to you, explaining the treatment or treatments in full, outlining again the costs and the stages at which payments are required.

If you wish to have some time to consider your treatment options, you can choose to receive your treatment plan letter and then make a decision. We will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, and to support you in your decision making.

Starting your treatment journey

Once you confirm you would like to start a treatment plan, we get busy.

As all our dental implant cases are digitally planned, using a 3D image of your mouth, we use these to finely plan your treatment to suit your body, face, mouth and jaw structure, and create customised guides for your implant placements.

Why do we do this?

The advantage of digitally planning dental implant treatment is that it means your implants can be placed more accurately and more safely. Put simply, the implants go in exactly the right place, to give you the best possible results.

Before making an appointment you can choose to speak with our Treatment Coordinator in a free discovery call. They will be able to answer some of your questions about treatment, provide information on the treatment options we offer, a pricing guide, or talk through any concerns you may have.
